The previous destinations with the A380 are Sydney, Mumbai, London and New York, and I believe this is their final destination with the Airbus 380.

Etihad has now taken delivery of 8 of the total of 10 airbus 380 they have ordered, so I believe they will not launch them on any more routes, only increase the frequency on the routes they currently serve. London is now operated all flights with the 380, but New York and Melbourne are both services once daily with the 380 and once daily with a Boeing 777. I believe that at least New York will be double daily with the 380 as well, but nothing announced yet as far as I have seen.

There seems to be quite good availability for now on award seats on this flight, you can redeem a one way ticket from Abu Dhabi to Melbourne in business class on the A380 for about 94.000 miles, and 124.000 miles for first class.
Also, for those who wants to try the residence on the A380, you can buy a return trip from Melbourne to Abu Dhabi for the price of around 71.000 Australian dollars, plus taxes. I guess if you can afford that, you don’t really care how much the taxes are….
Are you planning on flying this route with the A380 anytime soon?
