Etihad Cargo starts twice weekly flights to Copenhagen, Denmark

Etihad Cargo has announced that they from today, October 20, will start a twice weekly freighter flight from Copenhagen, Denmark, to their hub in Abu Dhabi.

The route will share capacity with Amsterdam, the flight will originate out of Abu Dhabi to Amsterdam, then on to Copenhagen before it returns to Abu Dhabi. The route will be operated by one of their currently 5 Boeing 777F, which has a cargo capacity of 102.8 tons.

Copenhagen will now be Etihad Cargos 4th destination in Europe, so far they are only operating to Milan, Amsterdam and Frankfurt.

This will also be the first Scandinavian airport that is serviced by an Etihad Aircraft, Etihad does not operate any passenger flights to any Scandinavian destinations so far, but do cover a lot of cities in Scandinavia through their code share agreement with KLM and Air Berlin.
