This is the second most exciting part of the travel festival for me, VISA is offering 15% on all tickets booked with Qatar Airways during the travel festival, provided you pay for the ticket with a VISA credit card.
The amount of money you can save on this is alone enough to pay the annual fee on any VISA credit card, so if you don’t have one you are loosing out big time. To apply for a VISA credit card from CitiBank (my favorite way of earning miles with Qatar Airways), click here.
This is the first time I have seen that Qatar Airways is offering this kind of promotion, a book more, save more. It is similar to their 2-for-1 companion offer, but this one is valid if you are 3 passengers traveling together.
Again, it offers some great discounts on certain destinations from certain cities, and you have to check fares from your country to see what is on offer, or even change countries if you do not mind doing a positioning flight to get the fares you are looking for.
For the travel festival Qatar Airways have announced some really good deals, there are discounts on most destinations (and you get an additional 15% discount if you use the Visa Promotion), and the offers varies from country to country.

Qatar Airways have just launched their 2017 travel festival, and they have quite a few promotions running with it, so I will try to make a few posts and explain each one of them.
The promotions are running from now and until the end of January 16th, and seems to be valid for booking made from now and to December 15, 2017, so those who are able to plan their leave in advance can pick up some great deals and bonus miles during the promotion period. Citibank is now offering up to 600 dirhams cashbak if you apply for any of their credit cards online.
The only requirement for getting the cashback is that you have to spend at least 5000 dirhams on the creditcard to get 300 dirhams statement credit, or 10000 dirhams to get 600 dirhams credited back to your account. This means up to 6% back on your spends for the first 10.000 dirhams you spend on the card, a better deal than most deals you can find out there right now.
The promotion seems to be valid for a selection of CitiBanks Credit Cards, my favorite that I am currently using myself is the Premier Miles, where you earn Citi miles on all your spends, which you can then credit to any airline program you choose (Emirates, Etihad and Qatar Airways and many others) at a 1:1 ratio, making it an excellent currency if you are not particularly loyal to just one of them.
